COME BY, WALES
Ah, the British summer. It is my humble opinion that nowhere compares to the UK in the summer. Long walks in the countryside, lazy afternoons reading in the balmy sunshine and camping adventures make up the majority of how I spend my time once the brief but sweet summer hits our Isles. Spending some time at Come By, in Powys, Wales, combines those favourites perfectly. Getting back to nature is encouraged here at Come by, but don’t let that fool you into thinking that means back to basics. In fact, off-grid has never looked easier. Featuring a super cosy shepherd’s hut with a double bed, a flushing loo and a log burner, a hot outdoor shower, and a cooking shack full of everything you could possibly need to rustle up an al fresco masterpiece, Come By is definitely more glamping than camping. My friend Nicole and I visited last summer, when temperatures were a dreamy 25 °C and the sun came out to play. We spent our time walking around the site (think rolling hills and babbling brooks), cooking delicious food on the campfire, and lazing around in the golden afternoons reading and basking in the sunlight. Book your own stay at Come By here and treat yourself to the most idyllic outdoor escape.
